Henry comments on the song Allison is singing, claiming he recognizes it. The chapter starts with Henry waking up in a bed at Tom and Allison's hideout. Henry's main mission is to navigate further and rescue Boris from Twisted Alice. Henry regains back his consciousness after the elevator crash. It begins with opening up a dissonance of Henry's voice, repeating the same line he gave at the beginning of the first chapter. Buddy Boris apparently finds a way to open the mechanical gate, letting Henry journey further in the studio. Henry gives the flashlight to Buddy Boris, who needs it to explore the vents in hope of finding a way. After exiting the area, Henry and Buddy Boris are standing in front of a mechanical closed door. Henry uses the flashlight he found on a desk to make their path.

Henry proceeds to stand up and walks to the kitchen area to find out that the safe house's exit door lever is not there. Henry slowly gets up from his folding bed, looking over at the "Sheep Songs!" poster to his left. Henry wakes up in Buddy Boris' safe house quarters. Shortly after fainting inside the ritual room from the first chapter, Henry awakens as he stood back up and pick up his axe, using it to break the boards off the door and enter the downstairs to the next lower level, only to discover even more sinister work that was left by Joey Drew. Henry tries to get out of the studio but falls onto the basement area and uses the axe to break down the wooden boards and go into the ritual room, only to faint on the ritual symbol painted on the floor afterwards, ending the chapter. After this, Henry goes to the Ink Machine room only to get jumpscared by Ink Bendy. Henry has to find six items to start the ritual. The plot revolves around Henry first entering the studio and trying to find and activate the Ink Machine. Some of these logs can be missed and require further exploration to uncover the secret areas they often reside In. In addition, players can find numerous audio logs throughout the studio that give more details about the game's story, particularly concerning the fate of the studio and its employees, similar to the systems used in games such as BioShock. If he takes too much damage, he can escape from the ink that consumes him and respawn at one of the numerous statues of Bendy that act as checkpoints. Henry can retreat inside Little Miracle Stations whenever enemies are nearby to recover or remain out of sight. In-game enemies all have different strength levels and resilience to damage, forcing players to be tactical about keeping out of reach and striking when necessary. There are also long-range weapons such as a Tommy Gun or Empty Bacon Soup cans.
